So for school, there's this big research project all tenth graders are required to do. The project requires that each student does a research project on ANYTHING. Some people are designing dresses, some are building computers, others are making YouTube videos. All of it requires research (which is the really cool part because the possibilities are endless).
I've decided to learn how to paint. I've already had to do a lot of research. I had to figure out which type of paint to use and the benefits of these paints, what type of equiptment I needed, etc... And man, it hasn't been easy.
I just started so I'm not surprised that I'm pretty terrible but I know I'll get better overtime. There's just so much to learn
-highlighting
-shadows
-how to use all these different brushes and how to know their purpose
-applying the paint on the canvas properly
It's pretty hard.
This is the first painting I did
It's pretty bad LOL. I messed up on the bird and the leaves so I just slabbed a bunch of green paint below the branch and went crazy. Kinda looks like a three year old's fingerpainting masterpiece.
Here's one I did yesterday
This one is a MAJOR improvement but it still needs a lot of work. I'm not disappointed though because I know these things take time.
I really am excited about this whole painting thing. I feel so artsy with my plastic palette and cheap 66 cent paint. ᕙ(⇀‿↼")ᕗ
I've also been improving on my drawing.
Ignore the words haha I was listening to Sunday Morning and felt the need to write down the lyrics like a weird person.
All though I've been working on my drawing and painting, I haven't really been focusing on writing.
For the same old bland reasons as before, I've been feeling too intimidated to write. I know I'm just singing a repetitive song when I say this but I feel too young to write anything worthwhile. I always see posts about how 15 year olds lack the capability of writing anything without it being so objectifying and stupid. This offends me as a writer but a small part of my brain whispers, "maybe they're right...maybe your stories are just as bad as those one direction stories on wattpad."
I want to try to write a romance but I'm so scared it's going to sound like one of those typical wattpad stories and not like something realistic so for now, I'm putting that idea on hold and I'm going to focus on building the friendships in my story.
Maybe I'll even write today. :)
ALSO, HOW ABOUT DAT PS3 DOE?
Jk.
I still don't understand why Sony would make a ps3 you can't even use. I think it's insanely unfair. I bought a new game called littlebig planet 2 and it's perfect for multiplayer.
So cute. ^^
Hopefully when the ps3 situation is figured out, we can play together :)
as little sack creatures
strollin' around town
trollin' people
they see us rollin' they hatin'
Okay I'm done.
Btw have you ever gone to a restaurant and when the waiter said "enjoy your meal," you replied back, "thanks you too!"
I haven't done it
Yet.
